So today was/is Valentine’s day, obviously. A day filled with hearts and candy, and tons and tons of chocolate. For some of us, it might just be a normal day, where you are not surrounded by tons of calorie bloating sweets. But for others, it is a day that tests our will.
Thankfully, it is nothing like Thanksgiving, or Christmas, where there are mountains of delicious food, and then leftovers for days. So the potential for “disaster” is much more minimal.
But that doesn’t mean that stressing out about breaking your diet isn’t a very real possibility. So the point of this short post is simply to tell you that if you did happen to go over today (even massively), who cares. Don’t stress. One day is not going to impact your goals in any meaningful way whatsoever. It’s one day. Just get back on track tomorrow. Live with that bloat for a few days, and then forget all about it by the weekend.
It’s ok to enjoy a little freedom now and then. You deserve it.
