An ACTUAL Blog Schedule

So here we are, day 29.  Almost 1/3 of the way through the project and I have yet to get the blogging on track… I know, I know.

But here we go, it’s time for a schedule.  From here on out, expect blog posts Monday-Friday.  Possibly some weekend posts, but I am not going to tell you to count on those.  So there we go, that’s it.  There is now a real, count on me, hold my hand, I won’t let you down, schedule written in proverbial stone.  Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  With possible bonus weekend posts from time to time.

Today I will just catch up on how things have been going thus far.  I really can’t believe that we are already 29 days into 100 Days of Ice Cream! We are only a few short days from being 1/3 of the way through!  This is going to be over in the blink of an eye.

Progress has been, for lack of a more accurate word, phenomenal.  I am down 13lbs and I wake up every day looking better than the night before.  I am even happier with the results so far than I had expected to be.

I am pretty confident that I will be ready to show my progress by day 50.  I can’t wait!

The gym has been going really well overall, but unfortunately, I have not worked out very much over the past week. I missed about 4 days after getting our new dog, Toka, since I couldn’t really leave my wife home for 3 hours with the three kids and a completely un-housebroken puppy. And now I am going on day 4 of being way too sick to go work out.  So HOPEFULLY in the next day or two I will be over this nonsense enough to get back at it.

Fortunately, the gym is not necessary to continue weight loss progression.  It is really just icing on the cake.  So fat loss has not slowed noticeably at all.

The first two days, it was just me and our youngest, Baerd, who were sick. Then Kourtney, my wife, and our oldest, Arson, both got sick between last night and this morning.  So as of right now, the only one of us who has continued to allude the plague is Range, our two-year-old. I have a feeling that he is simply too insane for germs to want to bother with.

Of course Kourtney used being sick as an excuse to have me pick up a $39 soup bowl from Panera, today.  She loves taking advantage of these situations.

So that is it for the little catch up and schedule setting.  I hope you follow along, and check back every day (there might be weekend content!), and don’t be afraid to share this with your friends!  Or enemies, whatever.  Maybe I can write some fake advice posts for them.

Abs & Ice Cream, , CO,

Abs & Ice Cream is not simply a catchy name or cocky statement; it's about much more than that.

It's abut being free, and understanding the fact that you CAN be dedicated to fitness, nutrition, and overall well-being, and still enjoy any foods that you desire. It's about ending the stress and the pain that placing foods into categories of "good" and "bad" causes us.

But most of all, it's about our lifelong journey to find balance and happiness in everything that we do.
